Tier One

Tier One behaviors are minor disruptions that can be handled/managed in the classroom.

Tier Two

Tier Two behaviors are habitual disruptions that can still be handled/managed in the classroom, but you may need administrative support. You can find a huge list of interventions to help you deal with Tier One and Tier Two behaviors in your classroom at www.pbisworld.com. If you feel that you need administrative support after trying several interventions for a Tier Two behavior, please follow this procedure:

  1. Send an email to Mandy and Kelsey with the subject "Tier Two Referral."
  2. In your email, include the student's name, a description of the behavior and the interventions you have already tried to this point.

Tier Three

Tier Three behaviors are an automatic referral. Fill out a Tier Three Referral Form (found in the office) and send it to the office. Use your judgement as to whether the student needs to be removed immediately or can wait until an administrator is available.
