Student Behavior Matrix

Students are expected to follow the Wrangler STAR throughout the building. We use a Student Behavior Matrix to respond to unexpected behavior. Following the PBIS system, we want to model and celebrate positive behavior. Teachers are expected to handle behavior in their classrooms as much as possible. However, this may not always be possible. 

Minor Referrals vs. Major Referrals

Please refer to the Student Behavior Matrix for behaviors that constitute a minor referral. We will use our PBIS Rewards system to complete Office Referrals. Parents will be notified after an incident is reported and looked into. However, please u understand that sometimes it takes time to gather all the information, and parents may not be notified immediately following an incident.
